Corporate citizenship: companies giving back

On October 17, 2019, 5 percent of proceeds from Hawaiʻi’s four Whole Foods Market locations (Kahala, Kailua, Kakaʻako and Kahului) will be donated to the Hawaiʻi Appleseed Center for Law & Economic Justice to help expand access to school meals in Hawaiʻi for keiki.

“We encourage members of the public to shop at their local Whole Foods Market on Oct. 17 to help fund our work to end childhood hunger in Hawaiʻi,” said Will Caron, Hawaiʻi Appleseed communications director, in an email to Pacific Business News.
